A project’s success is often determined long before that project even begins. Success is golden but often turns to dust because of poor planning, risk not properly identified or resolved in a timely manner and lack of communication between team members and sponsors.
Projects that finish on time, on budget and within scope have a proven life cycle that compliments the organizations strategic plans and initiatives. Too often this is not the case. Studies show that over 75% of projects do not finish on time, are over budget and out of scope. To correct this costly and poor use of an organizations resources, one must develop a Project Life Cycle that is parallel with a strategic plan that focuses on available manpower and resources running in sync.

The Project Life Cycle is a process that takes into considerations the needs of an organization and breaks project down into sequential phases necessary to:

develop, and

operate

the projects technical deliverable of on time, on budget and within scope. It will assist sponsors and project managers throughout an organization with the implementation of the project management methodology by:

creating a Project Management culture

maximizing organizational resources, and

establishing and maintaining a uniform project management process
